Golf Digest has included the Princeville Prince Golf Course on Kauai’s north shore in its list of America’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses for 2009-10. The course, which ranked No. 67, has been on the list several times, and it is once again the only Hawaii golf course to be included. The 18-hole Prince course is known equally for its challenging play and its layout, which follows the natural contours of the land. It encompasses 390 acres of rolling terrain, tropical jungles, gullies, streams and waterfalls. The course’s 13-acre practice facility includes a 1,200-square-foot putting green and a 1,200-square-foot chipping green. Adjoining the course is the 60,000-square-foot Prince Clubhouse, which offers a golf shop, a full-service restaurant and a spa.
