Paul Gauguin Cruises Sets New South Pacific Sailings

Paul Gauguin Cruises has announced a series of voyages in 2010 that are designed to highlight the best of what the South Pacific has to offer. With 38 unique itineraries ranging from seven to 15 nights, the ship will bring guests close to some of the world’s most exotic locales. Guests will have the opportunity to explore Tahiti, the Society Islands, Tuamotus, the Cook Islands, Marquesas, Tonga, Fiji and New Zealand. Cruises highlighting Tahiti and the Society Islands range from seven to 15 nights and start at $2,995 per person double. These voyages will feature the line’s Motu Mahana private retreat and use of the private beach in Bora Bora. Also, depending on length of the cruise, overnight calls at Moorea, Bora Bora or Papeete allow for extended activity options. Cruises featuring Tuamotus range from nine to 14 nights and start at just $3,995 per person, double. They feature overnight calls in Rangiroa, Bora Bora, Moorea and Papeete, as well as the private retreat on Motu Mahana and private beach at Bora Bora.

With four voyages this year, 14-night cruises featuring Marquesas start at $5,495 per person, double. Included will be in-depth exploration of four islands in the Marquesas, Fakarava, and the Society Islands, as well as Motu Mahana and a Bora Bora private beach visit. New additions for 2010 include two 14-night voyages between Papeete, Tahiti, and Auckland, N.Z., from $6,195 per person, double. They feature stops at Motu Mahana and the Bora Bora private beach. Four voyages featuring the Cook Islands in 2010 ranging from 11 to 15 nights and start at $4,395 per person, double. Two Fiji itineraries (13 or 15 nights) start at $5,695 and $6,545 per person, double, respectively. On these cruises, the ship will cross the International Dateline.
