Gas and Fuel Prices
"Cruising is the best vacation value! There are cruise vacations to suit every budget. Your cruise fare includes meals, your stateroom, on-board activities and entertainment, plus transportation from port to port. You'll know what your vacation will end up costing you before you go. (Typically, your only extra expenses will be drinks, specialty restaurants, optional shore excursions, and personal services such as massage or hairstyling").
I really believe this to be true. You would expect CLIA to say something like this but I told the same thing to some of my friends even before I was a franchise owner. I happened to be talking to a man the other day who had just returned from Europe. He had lunch in a London hotel. The bill totaled 100.00 for a hamburger and drink! He too believes cruising is the only way to go. And if anyone is from Houston and reads the paper you might have read where one columnist just got back from Dublin and paid over 40.00 for a hot dog and beer! If you are planning a trip to Europe what better way than to sail there and avoid the poor exchange rate. If you are budget conscious or just have better ways to spend your money you can plan to eat your meals on board ship . More tips about that later. Carol
